We had a great time at Boatlife 2023! Smartfish was on display inside the Birmingham NEC for the full 3 days and was very busy with visitors. As an ambassador for Boatlife itself, we had great fun presenting for the show and keeping all of it’s followers up to date on social. Just take a look at our dory boat, Overdraft, looking all posh on display in the Suzuki GB building in Milton Keynes! She’s been there for a few weeks now and even been photographed with the main boss himself, Mr Toshihiro Suzuki!
No rest for the wicked as we were straight off with the Smartfish25 to Seawork show in Southampton the day after winning the Sea Angling Classic! We spent a good few days there representing Suzuki GB and demonstrating some of the awesome kit we have on our boat.
Wow, what can we say?! Team Smartfish took home the trophy and grand first prize after 2 days of hard sea fishing in the Solent, Portsmouth UK on15th-19th June 2022. The pro fishing team consisted of myself (Will Parkinson), David Lonnie, Aaron Barrott, and Graham Paisley. A big shout out and thank you to all of our sponsors and especially to Pantaenius UK for supporting us in entering this event. You can check out all the media content for the tournament on the Sea Angling Classic facebook page and there will be a feature programme on BT sports Monday 11th July at 9pm. Well done team!
